A Cruise along the Danube to Budapest

Oberammergau

Truly remarkable and absolutely unforgettable, the once-a-decade Passion Play takes place in southern Germany and is coupled with a tour of the surrounding Austrian Alps in all their beauty! Dating back almost 400 years, the unique and prestigious play came about following a vow made in 1633 – promising to re-enact the ‘Passion of Christ’ every 10 years as a way of expressing their gratitude to the divine intervention that prevented any local deaths when the Black Plague swept the nation.

African adventure
